  • Why is there a 20% service charge on my check?

    An automatic 20% service charge is added to all guest checks. You will see this listed as an “Employee Wellness Fee” on your bill because 100% of this revenue passed from the business to our staff in the form of equitable, pre-tip hourly wages that exceed the current industry average AND comprehensive benefits not typically found in bars or restaurants including medical insurance, subsidized mental healthcare and paid time off.

    Additional gratuity is accepted and always appreciated - but is not expected. Any additional tips are distributed to our hourly staff and help elevate living wages to thriving wages.

  • Why don't you just raise your prices instead of adding a service charge?

    We are often asked why we don’t simply include the cost of the service charge in our prices. The answer is: transparency. We, along with many of our colleagues across the country, are working to educate our guests about the fight to end sub-minimum wages for tipped workers, and offer clarity around the specific portion of your bill that ensures dignified wages & benefits for our team.

    While we have been operating this way for nearly 5 years, we understand this way of doing business may be new to some guests and may not be for everyone.

    This model is what has allowed DrinkWell to become an industry leader when it comes to taking care of our employees so that they can take exceptional care of you.

  • When is happy hour and what is included?

    Monday-Friday until 5:30pm.

    Our happy hour offering consists of $9 featured classic cocktails, $3 off all wines by the glass + 25% off bottles, $5 draft beers and $2 off all bar snacks and shareable.

  • Do you take reservations?

    Reservations are not required or accepted for parties fewer than 8 guests. All seating is on a first come, first served basis.

  • Can I book a large party reservation?

    DrinkWell is an intimate space with 38 seats indoors and we do encourage reservations for groups larger than 8. We are best suited for large section/booth reservations for 8-16 people OR full venue buy-outs from 30-75 people. Guaranteed reservations for groups require a food & beverage minimum spend that varies by the day of week, time of day and length of your event.

  • Can I bring my dog on the patio?

    Yes, pets are welcome on our outdoor patio. However, please keep in mind that our patio spaces are small and quite active during the hustle & bustle of bar service. Large or particularly boisterous animals may not be comfortable. We will always do our best to accommodate you.
